In my second year, I helped promote a small event by offering to build a website for it. The organizers had already prepared the artwork, and I took on the task of turning that into a live site that matched the visual style. At the time, I hadn’t worked with any frameworks yet, so I created a fully static website using only HTML and JS. The build was simple, but it was a great way to apply what I knew and deliver something useful under a tight deadline. It also gave me some insight into working with existing visual assets and adapting to someone else’s creative direction.
